IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please, carefully read the instructions before using the appliance.

• Read these instructions for use carefully and look through the illustrations before using the

appliance.

• Keep these instructions for future reference.

• Check, if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage

before you connect the appliance.

• Never use any accessories or parts produced by other manufacturers. Your guarantee will

become invalid, if such accessories or parts have been used.

• Do not use the appliance if the mains cord, the plug or other parts are damaged.

• Thoroughly clean the parts that will come into contact with food before you use the appliance

for the rst time.

• Unplug the appliance immediately after use.

• Never use you nger or an object to push ingredients down the feed tube while the appliance

is running. Only the pusher is to be used for this purpose.

• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

• Never let the appliance run unattended.

• Switch the appliance off before detaching or installing any accessories.

• Wait until moving parts have stopped running before you remove the parts of the appliance.

• Before removing the parts of the appliance wait until moving parts stop running completely.

• Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, nor rinse it under the tap. Use

only a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.

• Do not attempt to grind bones, nuts or other hard items.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

• Never reach into the cutter housing. Always use the pusher.

• Never operate the appliance continuously for more than 3 minutes.

• Never press Reversal button (REV), until the appliance stops completely.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for

their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or

similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• This appliance is used indoor only.

• Service life - 2 years.

CAUTION!

Avoid extreme temperature changes.

Rapid temperature change (e.g. when the unit is moved from freezing temperature to a warm

room) may cause condensation inside the unit and a malfunction when switching it on.

In this case leave the unit at room temperature for at least 1.5 hours before switching it on.

If the unit has been in transit, leave it indoors for at least 1.5 hours before starting

operation.

INTRODUCTION

This appliance is equipped with a circuit breaker. This system will automatically cut off the

power supply to the appliance in case of the current is too large.

If your appliance suddenly stops running:

1. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.

2. Let the appliance cool down for 60 minutes.

3. Put the mains plug in the socket.

4. Press the switch button to turn off the appliance.

5. Press the circuit breaker button Z at the bottom of the appliance to turn on the appliance.

6. Put the mains plug in the socket.

7. Switch the appliance on again.

Please, contact you dealer of an authorized service center if the circuit breaker is activated too

often.

HOW TO USE

MINCING

1. Insert the worm shaft into the cutter housing, the plastic end rst.

2. Fit the cutter blade unit onto the other end of the worm shaft (the cutting edge should be

placed at the front side).

3. Fit the coarse/medium/ne grinding disc (depending on the consistency you prefer). Make

sure the notch of the grinding disc t into the projection on the opening of cutter house.

4. Fit the screw ring on the cutter housing by turning the screw ring clockwise until it is

properly fastened.

5. Fit the cutter housing on the motor unit. The lugs on the motor unit must t precisely

into the slots on the cutter housing. Rotate the cutter housing anti-clockwise until a click is

heard. The cutter housing is then locked in the position. You can remove the cutter housing by

pressing the release button on the appliance and turning the cutter housing clockwise.

6. Place the tray on the upright part of the cutter housing.

7. The appliance is ready for mincing.

Cut the meat into 10 cm long, 2 cm thick strips. Remove bones, pieces of gristle and sinews

as much as possible.

NOTE: Never use frozen meat!

Place the meat on the tray. Use the pusher to push the meat gently into the cutter housing.

For steak tartar, mince the meat with the medium grinding disc twice.

MAKING SAUSAGES

Mince the meat (See MINCING section)

1. Switch off the appliance.

2. Press the release button on the appliance and turn the cutter housing clockwise to remove

it from the motor unit.

NOTE: Make sure the appliance is switched off and has stopped running

before removing the cutter housing.

3. Remove the screw ring by turning it anti-clockwise.

4. Remove the grinding disc.

5. Fit separator, sausage horn on the metal end of the worm shaft. Then t the screw ring on

the cutter housing by turning the screw ring clockwise until it is properly fastened.

Make sure the notch of the separator ts into the projection on the opening of the cutter

house.

6. Fit the cutter housing on the motor unit. The lugs on the motor unit must t precisely into

the slots on the cutter housing. Rotate the cutter housing anti-clockwise until a click is heard.

The cutter housing is locked.

7. Place the tray on the upright part of the cutter housing.

8. The appliance is ready for making sausages.

Put the ingredients in the tray. Use the pusher to push the meat gently into the cutter housing.

Put the sausage skin in lukewarm water for 10 minutes. Then slide the wet skin onto the

sausage horn.

Push the (seasoned) minced meat into the cutter housing. If the skin gets stuck onto the

sausage horn, wet it with some water.

MAKING KEBBE

1. Insert the worm shaft into the cutter housing, the plastic end rst.

2. Fit the cone on the metal end of worm shaft, and then t the former. Make sure the notch

of the cone ts into the projection on the opening of the cutter house.

3. Fit the screw ring on the cutter housing by turning the screw ring clockwise until it is

properly fastened.

4. Fit the cutter housing on the motor unit. The lugs on the motor unit must t precisely into

the slots on the cutter housing. Rotate the cutter housing anti-clockwise until a click is heard.

The cutter housing is then locked in the position.

5. Place the tray on the upright part of the cutter housing.

6. The appliance is ready for making kebbe.

Feed the prepared kebbe mixture through the kebbe maker. Cut the continuous hollow cylinder

into the desired lengths and use as required.

 KEBBE is a traditional Middle East dish made primarily of lamb and bulgur wheat

which are minced together to form a paste. The mixture is extruded through the

kebbe maker and cut into short lengths. The tubes can then be stuffed with a minced

meat mixture, the ends pinched together and then deep fried.

SLICING

1. Insert the slice cutter (or the ne bar cutter and the coarse slice) into the cutter housing.

2. Attach the cutter housing to the motor unit.

Now the appliance is ready for slicing.

SLICING

• Cut the potato or other vegetable for processing it to pieces, which size is suitable for cutter

housing.

• Choose the different kind of cutter as requested.

• Put the pieces into cutter housing and press slightly by pusher.

MAKING TOMATO JUICE

1. Insert the worm shaft into the cutter housing, the plastic end rst.

2. Place the cone in the cutter housing.

3. Place the former on the cutter housing and screw the ring on the cutter housing.

4. Attach the cutter housing to the motor unit.

5. Place the tray on the upright part of the cutter housing.

Now the appliance is ready for making tomato mush.

6. Put the tomatoes in the tray. Use the pusher to push the tomatoes gently

into the cutter housing.

TIPS:

Screw ring is marking 1, 0, 2 (see the picture), when you disassemble the accessory you

should Rotation Shaper to 0 marking position.

When you are extracting vegetables containing more cellulose you should switch Rotation

Shaper to 1 marking position.

And extracting the vegetables with less cellulose you should switch Rotation Shaper 2 marking

position 2.

MAKING PASTA

1. Insert the worm shaft into the cutter housing, the plastic end rst.

2. Place the shaper xing in the cutter housing.

3. Place the former on the cutter housing and screw the ring on the cutter housing.

(Make sure the notches of the separator t onto the projections

of the grinder head.)

4. Attach the cutter housing to the motor unit.

5. Place the tray on the upright part of the cutter housing.

Now the appliance is ready for making pasta.

6. Choose one of ve pasta styles.
