SELF CLEAN
ANTI-CALCIUM PROTECTION- PREVENTION SYSTEM
Calcination prevention system in the water reservoir of your iron prevents the vapour holes
from clogging. Anti-calc system is always active and it doesn't need to be replaced.
DESCALING FEATURE (SELF CLEAN)
It removes the lime pieces accumulated in the steam production
reservoir of your iron.
Use the descaling feature once in 2-3 weeks. If the water of your
area is too hard (if lime pieces fall from the base while ironing), we
recommend you to use descaling feature more frequent.
Make sure you unplugged your iron.
Fill the water reservoir until the Max. level.
Don't add descaling agents into the water reservoir such as vin-
egar etc.
Adjust «0» steamless ironing position by rotating the steam ad-
justment button clockwise.
Plug in to a grounding plug and maximize the soleplate tem-
perature.
Unplug the iron when red light is on and thermostat warning
light is off.
Hold the iron above the sink and shake it up and down while
holding down the descaling button. During this procedure, water
in the water reservoir will go down to steam producing chamber
quickly and will get out from the soleplate holes along with lime
particles (if any).

Soft metals and materials (button, zip etc.) don't damage the
base of the iron in normal ironing conditions. If you wipe the stains
left on the base from these kind of materials with a refreshing
towel or detergent water they will come off.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR EFFECTIVE IRONING
We recommend that you set the lowest temperature for fabrics with such decorations as
sequins, embroidery, embossing, etc.
For mixed fabrics (e.g. 40% cotton, 60% synthetics) set the temperature appropriate for the
type of fabric requiring the lower ironing temperature.

it will become impossible to wash off.
Dry ironing is the most effective at moderate temperatures while excessive temperature can
burn fabrics and there may be the risk of leaving burned prints on items.
To prevent silk, wool or synthetic fabrics from glossing, iron them inside out.

do not press the iron.
To minimize the number of creases do not overload the washing machine with laundry. Also
many creases form on items at very high speeds of the spin cycle.
Many fabrics are easier to iron when they are not completely dry. For example, silk is always
better to iron slightly wet.
