Pairing and Charging

When using the HUAWEI M-Pencil for the first time,

pair it with the host device via Bluetooth.

•

Method 1:

Connect the charger in the packaging box to the

host device, and attach the groove side of the

stylus pen to the charger for pairing or charging.

The host device must be running EMUI 10.1

or later.

•

If you want to use the stylus pen with

another device, follow Method 1 again to

pair it with the other device.

•

The stylus pen cannot be used during

charging.

•

If the stylus pen does not work, connect the

charger to the host device, attach the stylus

pen to the charger for a battery prompt to

display, and try using the stylus pen again.

•

If the stylus pen stays idle for a long time, its

power will gradually drain until it enters

battery protection mode. In this case, the

stylus pen needs to be charged for 5 to 10

minutes before it can be used again.

•

Method 2:

Currently, this method applies only to the

HUAWEI MatePad Pro.

Attach the groove side of the stylus pen to the top

edge of a host device for pairing or charging.

•

It is recommended that you use a Huawei

leather case and keyboard. Otherwise, the

stylus pen may not be able to pair or charge

properly.

•

If the stylus pen stays idle for a long time, its

power will gradually drain until it enters

battery protection mode. In this case, the

stylus pen needs to be charged for 5 to 10

minutes before it can be used again.

Replacing the Pen Tip

•

The pen tip may wear out during daily use,

especially when used on a rough protective

film. When the replacement tips run out, it is

recommended that you purchase more from

authorized Huawei channels.

•

The tip could be damaged if the stylus pen

drops. Please take good care of it to prevent

this from happening.

•

There are two types of replacement tips in

the packaging box. The tip with a blue

bottom is softer, while the one with a red

bottom is harder. Please select a pen tip

based on your usage habits and scenarios.

1. Pinch the tip and rotate it counterclockwise

until it is removed from the pen body.

2. Pinch the top of the new tip and insert the

lower part into the pen. Then, rotate the tip

clockwise to lock it into place. Make sure that

the tip is secure to prevent it from becoming

loose and falling out.

Safety Information

Before using and operating this device, read the

following precautions to ensure optimal device

performance and avoid dangers or unauthorized

operations.

Some wireless devices may interfere with

implantable medical devices and other medical

equipment, such as pacemakers, cochlear implants,

and hearing aids. When using the product, keep it

at least 15 cm away from such medical devices.

Consult the manufacturer of your medical

equipment for more information.

Use this device at temperatures between 0°C and

35°C and store this device and its accessories at

temperatures between –20°C and +45°C. Extreme

heat or cold may damage this device.

•

Do not allow children or pets to bite or suck the

device or accessories. Doing so may result in

damage or explosion.

•

Keep this device and its accessories that may

contain small components out of the reach of

children. Otherwise, children may damage this

device and its accessories by mistake, or swallow

small components, which may cause choking.

•

Do not expose this device and its accessories to

rain or moisture, as this is a potential fire hazard

and may cause you to experience an electric shock.

•

Avoid placing this device or its accessories in

environments that are too hot (for example, near

heat sources or open flame) or cold as this may

cause device malfunctions or even explosions.

•

Do not disassemble, drop, hit, squeeze, or modify

the device battery. Do not insert foreign objects

into the device battery, or otherwise puncture it.

Do not submerge the device battery in water or

other liquids. Do not store the device battery in

high-temperature environments as this may cause

it to short-circuit, overheat, leak, catch on fire, and

even explode.

Avoid disassembling or modifying this device and

its accessories. Unauthorized disassembly and

modifications may result in voiding of the factory

warranty. If your device is faulty, visit an

authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for

assistance.

Using an unapproved or incompatible power

adapter, charger or battery may cause fire,

explosion or other hazards.

•

Respect local laws on the disposal of this device

and its accessories and support recycling efforts.

Disposal and recycling information

be taken to separate waste collection

points at the end of their working lives; they must

not be disposed of in the normal waste stream with

Trước khi sử dụng và vận hành thiết bị này, hãy đọc

Một số thiết bị không dây có thể gây nhiễu các thiết

bị y tế cấy ghép và các thiết bị y tế khác, chẳng hạn

thính. Khi sử dụng sản phẩm, hãy để sản phẩm

Sử dụng thiết bị này ở nhiệt độ từ 0°C đến 35°C và

bảo quản thiết bị này và các phụ kiện của thiết bị ở

nhiệt độ từ -20°C và +45°C. Nhiệt độ quá cao hoặc

quá thấp có thể làm hỏng thiết bị này.

Không để trẻ em hay thú cưng cắn hoặc mút thiết

Tránh tháo rời hoặc sửa đổi thiết bị này và các phụ

Việc sử dụng bộ chuyển đổi nguồn, bộ sạc hoặc

pin không tương thích hay không được phê chuẩn

có thể dẫn đến hiện tượng cháy, nổ hoặc các mối

nguy hiểm khác.

•

Tuân thủ pháp luật địa phương về việc thải bỏ thiết

bị và phụ kiện, đồng thời hỗ trợ hoạt động tái chế.

Thông tin về việc thải bỏ và tái chế

Biểu tượng thùng rác có bánh xe bị gạch

dẫn hoặc bao bì nhắc bạn rằng khi hết

thời hạn sử dụng, tất cả các sản phẩm

điện tử và pin phải được mang đến tại

rác thải sinh hoạt thông thường. Người dùng chịu

trách nhiệm thải bỏ các thiết bị tại điểm thu gom quy

định hoặc dịch vụ tái chế rác thải riêng biệt cho thiết bị

điện và điện tử (WEEE) theo quy định địa phương.

Thu thập và tái chế thiết bị của bạn đúng cách giúp

đảm bảo rác thải điện và điện tử (EEE) được tái chế

theo cách có thể bảo tồn các vật liệu có giá trị, bảo vệ

sức khỏe con người và môi trường. Xử lý không đúng

phương pháp, vỡ hỏng vô tình và/hoặc tái chế sai

phương pháp khi thiết bị hết hạn sử dụng có thể gây
