Avoid extreme temperature
changes. Rapid temperature change
(e.g. when the unit is moved from
freezing temperature to a warm
room) may cause condensation
inside the unit and a malfunction
when it is switched on. In this case
leave the unit at room temperature
for at least 1.5 hours before
switching it on.
If the unit has been in transit, leave
it indoors for at least 1.5 hours
before starting operation.

The following safety precautions
should always be followed, to
reduce the risk of electric shock,

1. Do not operate this appliance if
the cable or plug becomes damaged. A
qualified electrician must always carry
out any repairs that are necessary.
2. If the appliance stops

switch off the power supply, unplug
from the mains and stop using

5. Be aware that some surfaces may

others accordingly. The unit is VERY
HOT when in use. Take care to avoid
contact between the hot surface of the
heating plate and bare skin, particularly
around the ears, face and neck when in
use.
6. Care should be taken not to touch this
part of the appliance when it is switched
on or just after it has been turned off.

7. Electrical appliances must always be
stored in a secure place, out of reach of
children.
8. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.

11. To protect against electric shock, never
allow the appliance, the mains cable or

fallen into water. Switch off the power
supply at the mains immediately and
unplug. Do not re-use until the product
has been inspected and approved by a

13. Keep the appliance away from non-heat-
resistance surfaces and never cover the
appliance with anything (e.g. clothing or
towels) when it is hot.
14. Always ensure that hands are dry before
operating or adjusting any switch on the
product or touching the plug and mains
supply connections.
15. Keep the appliance away from water. Do
not use it near or over water contained
in bath, washbasins, shower, etc.
16. Never leave the appliance unattended
when connected to the mains power
supply. To disconnect, first ensure that
all controls are in the OFF position, then
