in your housekeeping.
Avoid extreme temperature
changes. Rapid temperature
change (e.g. when the unit is
moved from freezing temperature
to a warm room) may cause
condensation inside the unit and a
malfunction when it is switched
on. In this case leave the unit at
room temperature for at least 1.5
hours before switching it on.
If the unit has been in transit,
leave it indoors for at least 1.5
hours before starting operation.
Read this booklet thoroughly

Important safety instructions
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Before plugging the kettle to the
power outlet, check that the voltage
indicated on the appliance (underside
the kettle & base) corresponds with
the supply voltage.
3. The base cannot be used for
anything other than its intended use
with this kettle.
4. Do not operate the appliance
without water to avoid damaging the
heat element.
5. Unplug from the outlet when not in
use.
6. Do not let the cord hang over edge
of table counter or touch hot surface.
7. Do not place on or near a hot gas
or electric burner or in a heated oven.
8. Should you accidentally allow the
kettle to operate without water; the
boil dry protection will automatically
switch it off. If this should occur, allow
the kettle to cool before filling with
cold water and re-boiling.
9. Ensure that kettle is used on a firm
and flat surface out of reach of
children.
10. To protect against a fire, electrical,
shock or personal injury, do not
immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle
in water or other liquids.
11. Always take care to pour boiling
water slowly and carefully without
tipping the kettle too fast.
12. This appliance is for household use
only.

Allow it to cool before cleaning the

21. Always ensure the lid is closed and
do not lift it while the water is boiling.
Scalding may occur if the lid is
removed during the boiling cycles.
22. Do not use the appliance for other
than intended use.
23. The kettle can only be used with
the base provided.
24. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling
water may escape.
