Introduction
JetNet 6059G series is an Industrial Gigabit Managed Ethernet Switch with 9 full gigabit
ports and 32G switching backplane to ensure high quality data transmission in industrial
applications requiring high-bandwidth connectivity. In addition to 4 Giga RJ-45 ports, the
switch is equipped with 5 Giga RJ-45/SFP combo ports to deliver maximum throughput and
flexibility for high-density connection while providing Giga uplink or Giga Ring connection.
With the Korenix patented MSR technology, users can aggregate up to 4 Multi Gigabit Rings
into a single switch and ensure network reliability in applications with increased bandwidth
and expended system. Furthermore, JetNet 6059G supports advanced management and
security features, such as LLDP and JetViewPro, 4 Priority queues per port, 256 VLANs,
IGMP Snooping, DHCP, LACP to ensure high performance network communication. JetNet
6059G is compliant with NEMA -TS2 /Maritime, Railway standards and has dual redundant
10.5~60VDC power inputs and -40~75

C wide operating temperature range to work reliably
under vibrating and shock environments in Maritime, Railway or rolling stock applications.

Grounding JetNet 6059G
There is one grounding screw on the bottom side
of JetNet 6059G. Connect the frame grounding
of JetNet 6059G to the grounding surface to
ensure safety and prevent noise to interfere
communication.
Wiring the Power Inputs
1. Insert the positive and negative wires into the V+ and V- contact on the terminal block
connector.
Wiring the Relay Output (DO)
The relay output contacts are in the bottom side as shown on Figure-3. The relay output (DO)
is controlled by the pre-defined operating rules. To activate relay output function, please refer to
the User’s Manual for the Relay Output information.
2. Tighten the wire-clamp screws to prevent the power wires from being loosened.
Notes: The recommended working voltage is DC 24V (Input range: DC10.5~ 60 V),
maximum power consumption is 20 Watts.
Note: The relay contact only
supports 1A current, DC 24V.
It is not recommended to apply
voltage and current higher than
the specifications.

Wiring the Digital Input (DI)
The Digital Input (D.I.) contacts are in the bottom side of the device as shown in Figure-4.
It accepts one external DC type signal input and can be configured to send alert message
through Ethernet when the signal is changed.
Note: the DI accepts DC type signal and supports isolated input circuit with Digital High
Level input DC 11V~30V and Digital Low Level input DC 0V~10V. Don’t apply higher
voltage than the specification; it may cause internal circuit damage or a wrong action of DI.
Connecting to Network
1. Connecting the Ethernet Port: Connect the Ethernet port of JetNet 6059G with the
other Ethernet device by Cat-5/Cat-6 UTP or STP cable, and then the LNK/ACT LED will
turn on and start flashing to indicate the communication is occurred between 2 devices.
2. Connecting the SFP Port: Plug in SFP fiber transceiver. We recommend using Korenix
certificated SFP mini GBIC transceiver. Cross-connect the transmit channel at each end to
the receive channel at the opposite end as illustrated in the Figure-5.

Device Management
JetNet 6059G Industrial Managed Switch provides both in-band and out-band configuration
methods. You can configure the switch via the RS232 console with the attached console
cable. Or you can remotely manage the switch via network. You can choose Telnet/SSH,
Web/HTTPS management.
1. Preparation for console management: Attach the RS-232 DB9 connector to your PC’s
COM port. Connect the RJ-45 connector to the console port of the JetNet 6059G
Go to Start -> Program -> Accessories -> Communication -> Hyper Terminal
Give a name to the new console connection.
Choose the COM name and select the correct serial settings. The serial port settings of
JetNet 6059G are as below: 9600bps, No parity check, 8 Data bits, 1 stop bit
After connected, you will see the Switch login request. Type the username and password
then you can login. The default username is “admin”, password is “admin”.
Follow the manual to configure the software features.
2. Preparation for Web management: Before you attempt to use the embedded web
interface to manage switch operation, verify that JetNet 6059G is properly installed on your
network and that every PC on this network can access the switch via the web browser.
Launch the web browser (Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) on the PC.
Type http://6059G_IP_Address (The default IP address is 192.168.10.1.) then press Enter.
The login screen will appear next.
Type in the user name and password and click
“OK” button. The welcome page of the Web-Based
management interface will appear then. The default
user name and password is admin/admin

Einleitung
Die JetNet 6059G-Serie sind industrielle, managebare Gigabit Ethernet-Switches mit 9
Gigabit Ports und einer 32G Switching Backplane. Das erlaubt eine Datenübertragung
mit hoher Qualität in industriellen Anwendungen , wo ein Anschluss mit hoher Bandbreite
gefordert ist. Zusätzlich zu den 4 x 1 GB RJ-45 Ports ist der Switch mit 5 x 1 GB RJ-45/
SFP Combo Ports ausgerüstet, um maximalen Durchsatz und Flexibilität für High-Density
Anschlüsse bei der Verwendung von GB-Uplinks oder von GB-Ringen zu garantieren. Mit
der von Korenix patentierten MSR-Technologie kann der Benutzer bis 4 Multi-Gigabit-Ringe
in einen einzelnen Switch zusammenführen und eine grosse Netzwerk- Zuverlässigkeit
in den Anwendungen mit erhöhter Bandbreite sicherstellen. Außerdem unterstützt JetNet
6059G moderne Management- und Sicherheits-Anwendungen, wie LLDP und JetViewPro,
4 Prioritäts-Warteschlangen pro Port, 256 VLANs, IGMP Snooping, DHCP, LACP, um
Hochleistungs-Netzkommunikation sicherzustellen.
Der JetNet 6059G ist NEMA - TS2 / Maritime, Bahnstandards konform und hat eine
Dual redundante 10.5 bis 60 VDC Speisung. Er hat ausserdem einen sehr hohen
Betriebstemperatur-Bereich von -40 bis 75°C und arbeitet äusserst zuverlässig in
Umgebungen mit hohen Vibrationen und Beschleunigungen, wie sie bei Anwendungen in
Schiffen, Bahnen, etc. vorkommen.

Erdung von JetNet 6059G
Es gibt eine Erdenschraube an der unteren
Seite des JetNet 6059G. Schließen Sie die
Rahmenerdung des Switches an die Erde
(Ground) an, um Störungen der Kommunikation
zu vermeiden.
Verdrahten der Eingänge
1. Legen Sie die positiven und negativen Drähte an die Klemmen V+ und V- des
Klemmenblocks.
2. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben beim Drahtklemmenblocks fest an, um zu verhindern, dass
sich die Drähte lösen.
Anmerkungen: Die empfohlene Speisespannung ist 24 VDC
(Eingangsspannungsbereich: 10.5~ 60 DCV), maximale Leistungsaufnahme ist 20 Watt.
DIN Schiene Befestigung
DIN-Schiene Befestigung: Befestigen Sie den DIN-Schiene Clip an
der Rückseite des JetNet 6059G um diesen anschließend auf der
DIN-Schiene zu befestigen. Für zusätzliche Information über die
DIN-Schieneninstallation, beziehen Sie sich bitte auf das
Benutzerhandbuch.
Verdrahten der Digital Input (DI)
Die Kontakte des Digital-Einganges (D.I.) sind an der unteren Seite des Switches, wie Bild
4 zeigt. Es kann ein externer DC-Signaleingang sein, welcher so konfiguriert werden kann,
dass bei einem Wegfall der Spannung ein Alarm ausgelöst wird, welcher über das Ethernet
ausgegeben werden kann.
Anmerkung: DI akzeptiert DC-Signale und unterstützt isolierte Eingänge mit Digital
High- Level Eingang von 11 VDC bis 30 VDC und Digital Low-Level Eingang 0 VDC bis
10VDC. Verwenden Sie keine höhere Spannungen als die Spezifikationen; es könnte unter
Umständen die Eingangsschaltung zerstören oder eine falscher Zustand von DI angezeigt
werden.
Verdrahten Relay Output (DO)
Die Relaisausgangs-Kontakte sind auf der unteren Seite wie auf Bild 3. abgebildet.
Der Relaisausgang (DO), wird durch die vorbestimmten Betriebs-Einstellungen gesteuert.
Um die Relaisausgangsfunktion zu aktivieren, beziehen Sie sich bitte auf das
Benützerhandbuch.
Anmerkung: Der Relaiskontakt
ist nur für 1A Strom ausgelegt, 24
VDC. Höhere Spannungen und
Ströme als die Spezifikationen
sind nicht zu empfehlen.

Geräteverwaltung
Der managebare, industrielle JetNet 6059G, ist mit In-Band- und Out-Band Konfigurations-
Möglichkeiten ausgestattet. Sie können den Switch via der RS232 Konsole, mit dem
angebrachten Konsolenkabel konfigurieren, oder Sie können den Switsch Remote via Netz
"managen". Hierbei können Telnet / SSH, Web / HTTPS Management auswählen.
1. Vorbereitung für Konsolenmanagement: Verbinden Sie den RS-232 DB9 Stecker
am JetNet 6059G Switch mit dem COM-Port Ihres Computer. Starten Sie - > Program
- > Accessories - > Communication - > Hyper Terminal. Geben Sie dem neuen
Konsolenanschluss einen Namen. Wählen Sie den COM-Port und wählen Sie die korrekten
Einstellungen. Die Schnittstellen-Einstellungen von JetNet 6059G sind wie unten angegeben:
9600 bps, No party check, 8 Data bits, 1 stop bit
Nach dem Anschließen, sehen Sie den Switsch, login request. Geben Sie Username
und Password ein, sodass Sie sich einloggen können. Der Default Username ist „admin“,
Password ist „admin“.
Folgen Sie die Anleitungen im Manual um die Konfigurationen und Software-Features zu
programmieren.
Anschluss ans Netzwerk
1. Verbindung der Ethernet-Ports: Verbinden Sie die Ethernet-Ports des JetNet 6059G
an andere Ethernet-Devices mittels Cat-5/Cat-6 UTP oder STP Kabel. Danach leuchtet
das LNK / ACT LED und fängt an zu blinken , um die Kommunikation zwischen den beiden
Geräten anzuzeigen.
2. Verbindung der SFP-Ports: Schließen Sie die "SFP-Fiber transceiver" an. Wir
empfehlen die Verwendung vom Korenix zertifizierten, SFP Mini-GBIC Transceiver.
Kreuzen Sie die die Leitungen vom Sender- und Empfänger, wie in Bild 5 abgebildet.

2. Vorbereitung für Netzmanagement: Bevor Sie die Embedded Web-Schnittstelle
initialisieren, überprüfen Sie ob der JetNet 6059G richtig am Netz angeschlossen ist und ob
jeder PC in diesem Netzwerk über den Web-Browser auf den JetNet 6059G zugreifen kann.
Starten Sie den Web-Browser (Internet Explorer oder Mozilla Firefox) auf dem PC, tippen

Introduction
Le JetNet 6059G est un switch indutriel manageable comportant 9 ports Gigabit et un bus
de commutation 32G afin d’assurer une haute qualité de transmission de donnée dans les
applications industrielles nécessitant une grande bande passante. En plus de 4 ports Gigabit
RJ-45, le switch est équipé de 5 ports combo RJ-45/SFP pour permettre le maximum de
flexibilité et de puissance pour des connectivités haute densité. Grâce à la technologie MSR,
brevetée par KORENIX, l’utilisateur peut faire de 4 anneaux Multi Gigabits un agrégat sur
un seul switch et assurer ainsi la fiabilité du réseau. De plus, le JetNet 6059G propose des
caractéristiques étendues de management et de sécurité, comme LLDP et JetViewPro, 4
queues prioritaires par port, 256 VLANs, IGMP Snooping, DHCP, LACP.Le JetNet 6059G
est conforme aux standards maritime et férroviare NEMA -TS2 , dispose d’une alimentation
double redondante 10.5~60VDC et d’une gamme de température d’utilisation étendue

Mise à la terre du JetNet 6059G
Une vis de mise à la terre est présente sous
le JetNet 6059G. Assurer vous de connecter
proprement la terre au JetNet 6059G pour assurer
la sécurité et prévenir les risqué d’interférences
radioélectriques.
Cablage des alimentations
1. Insérer les fils positives et négatifs dans les contacts V+et V- du bloc de connexion.
Câblage des sorties relais ( DO )
Les contacts des sorties relais sont sous le switch comme montré sur la figure-3. La sortie relais
(DO) est controllée par des rêgles opératoires pré-définies. Pour activer les sorties relais,
réferrer au manuel utilisateur.
2. Serrer fortement les vis de connecteur pour prévenir de toute déconnexion.
Notes: La tension d’alimentation recommandée est de 24V DC (Gamme: 10.5~ 60 V DC), la
puissance consommée est de 20 Watts maximum.
Note: Le contact du relais
supporte seulement 1A sous
24VDC. Il n’est pas recommandé
d’appliquer un courant ou
une tension supérieure aux
caractéristiques.

Câblage de l’entrée digitale (DI)
L’entrée Digitale (D.I.) est sous le switch, comme montré Figure-4.
Elle accepte un signal d’entrée DC et peut être configure pour enoyer un message d’alerte
par Ethernet lorsque la valeur du signal change.
Connexion au Réseau ETHERNET
1. Connecter les ports Ethernet: Connecter les ports Ethernet JetNet 6059G aux autres
dispositifs Ethernet du réseau grace à des cables Cat-5/Cat-6 UTP ou STP, la LED LNK/
ACT s’allumera et commencera à clignoter pour indiquer la connexion.
2. Connecter les ports SFP: brancher le transceiver fibre SFP. Nous recommandons
d’utiliser des transceivers mini GBIC certifies par KORENIX. Connecter le canal d’émission
à chaque extrémité au canal de réception du coté opposé, comme montré Figure-5.

Note: L’entrée DI accepte un signal DC et dispose d’un circuit d’entrée isolé avec un niveau
logique haut niveau 11V~30VDC et bas niveau 0V~10VDC. Ne pas appliquer une tension
supérieure, cela pourrait causer des dommages.

Management du produit
Le JetNet 6059G peut être configure via un port RS-232 en utilisant le câble console fourni,
ou via le réseau. Dans ce cas, vous pouvez utiliser un management Telnet/SSH, Web/
HTTPS.
1. Preparation pour management par console: Connecter le connecteur DB-9 RS-232
DB9 au port série de votre PC, et connecter le connecteur RJ-45 au port console du JetNet
6059G
Sous Windows, aller dans Démarrer -> Programmes -> Accessoires -> Communication ->
Hyper Terminal
Donner un nom à la nouvelle connexion.
Choisisser le port COM et sélectionner la configuration du JetNet 6059G comme ci-dessous:
9600bps, No parity check, 8 Data bits, 1 stop bit
Après la connexion, vous verrez la demande de nom d’utilisateur et de mot de passé du
JetNet 6059G. Taper les informations, par défaut « admin/admin ».
Suiver le manuel opérateur pour configurer les caractéristiques du logiciel
2. Preparation pour management par Web: Afin d’essayer d’utiliser le navigateur Web
enfoui, verifier que le JetNet 6059G est correctement reconnu sur votre réseau, et que tous
les PC du réseau peuvent y accede via un navigateur Web.
Lancer le navigateur web sur votre PC
Taper http://6059G_IP_Address (l’adresse IP par défaut est 192.168.10.1.) et taper Enter.
L’écran de connexion apparaitra.
Taper le nom d’utilisateur et le mot de passé
( par défaut “ admin/admin »)
