1. INTRODUCCIÓN
Enhorabuena, ha adquirido usted nuestro
innovador escuchalatidos por ultrasonidos
doppler que le permitirá oír los latidos del
corazón de su bebé a partir de las 16 semanas
de gestación en su dispositivo móvil gracias a su
tecnología Bluetooth. Antes de su utilización, lea
atentamente las instrucciones de este manual.
Consérvelo para poder utilizarlo como referencia
en el futuro puesto que contiene información
importante.
Las características descritas en este manual
están sujetas a modicaciones sin previo
aviso.
2. CONTENIDO

3. PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Este dispositivo es tras el ciclo de carga,
energéticamente autónomo y cumple las normas
de seguridad referentes a productos sanitarios
de la UE. Para evitar cualquier daño potencial
asegúrese de que cumple las siguientes
indicaciones.
1. El aparato no es apropiado para su uso en
entornos con presencia de gas inamable
y/o anestésico ya que podría provocar
explosiones.
2. No arroje el aparato al fuego para evitar su
explosión.
3. No emplee el escuchalatidos en más de un
paciente simultáneamente.
4. No use este dispositivo si hay equipos
quirúrgicos de alta frecuencia o de
resonancia magnética en uso. Podría dañar
tanto al operador como al paciente.
5. La distancia eciente de trabajo entre el
dispositivo y el móvil reproductor es de 5 m.
6. Este instrumento ha sido diseñado para
trabajar de manera continua. Aunque está
fabricado a prueba de salpicaduras, evite
que entre en contacto con cualquier líquido.
7. Mantenga el dispositivo limpio y evite
vibraciones en el mismo.
8. No esterilice el aparato en entonos a alta
temperatura. Evite también para ello el uso
de rayos electrónicos, ultravioleta, etc.
9. Antes de su utilización, compruebe si hay
algún daño en el equipo que pueda poner
en peligro la seguridad del usuario. Esta
comprobación debe realizarse al menos una
vez al mes de forma que si se encuentra
algún problema, se repare antes de su uso.
10. Si tuviera alguna duda del bienestar del feto
tras usar la unidad, consulte a su médico.
11.Este instrumento es un detector de la
frecuencia cardíaca fetal portátil. En ningún
caso puede sustituir la monitorización fetal
médica. Se aconseja al usuario nal recibir
consejos profesionales sanitarios básicos
antes de la utilización del dispositivo por
primera vez.
12. Inmediatamente tras realizar una
monitorización clínica prescrita se
recomienda un uso mínimo del equipo.
4. CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL PRODUCTO
4.1. ESQUEMA DE PARTES DEL PRODUCTO

5. INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
5.1. CARGA DE LA BATERÍA
Este escuchalatidos está equipado con una
batería recargable. Si ésta se está agotando,
el indicador de encendido (1) se iluminará en
naranja. Para recargar la batería del aparato:
1) Conecte el extremo micro-USB del cable de
carga suministrado en el puerto micro-USB
que se encuentra en el lateral del aparato
cubierto con una pequeña pieza de silicona
(3). Conecte el otro extremo a su ordenador.
Comenzará entonces la carga del aparato.
2) Durante la carga, el indicador de encendido
parpadeará en naranja. Una vez nalizada, lo
hará en verde.
NOTA 1: No intente extraer la batería del
aparato.
NOTA 2: Mientras el aparato se encuentra en
proceso de carga, no podrá utilizarse para medir
la frecuencia cardiaca fetal.
5.2. DETECCIÓN DEL LATIDO
Para que la experiencia con el escuchalatidos
sea lo más satisfactoria posible, el
posicionamiento del transductor en el área
adecuada del abdomen es primordial. Para
conseguirlo, busque el primer tercio de la vertical

que une el ombligo con el pubis y añada una
cantidad generosa de gel conductor.
A continuación, en función de si la gestante se
encuentra en la fase 1 (16-24 semanas), en la
fase 2 (24-32 semanas) o en la fase 3 (32-40
semanas), busque el latido del feto según se
indica en la Figura B.
Se puede apreciar que la zona se amplía a
lo largo del embarazo. Esto se debe a que,
a medida que el feto crece, su posición y
por extensión la del corazón, se desplazan
hacia arriba, y la movilidad hacia los lados va
aumentando. La posición ideal para detectar con
claridad la frecuencia cardíaca fetal es cuando
el aparato está orientado hacia la parte trasera
del hombro izquierdo del feto. Asegúrese de
que el transductor (5) del aparato esté siempre
completamente en contacto con su piel.
Una vez encontrada la mejor posición para
oír el latido cardíaco del bebé puede utilizar
su dispositivo móvil con la app eMyBaby para
monitorizar la frecuencia cardíaca fetal. Si lo
preere, también puede escucharla directamente
mediante la conexión de auriculares en la
entrada jack 3,5 mm (2).
Si el feto cambiara de posición durante la
exploración, deberá ajustar la orientación de su
escuchalatidos hasta volver a detectar de nuevo
su actividad cardíaca con la mayor claridad
posible.
Nota 1: Miniland cuenta con un gel especial
para favorecer la conducción de ultrasonidos,
cuya referencia es 89211. Podrá realizar su
compra a través de nuestra tienda online
(https://www.minilandgroup.com/).
Además, este tipo de gel puede ser adquirido
en farmacias y parafarmacias.
Nota 2: Debe tener en cuenta que la potencia
de emisión ultrasónica en este dispositivo es
bastante inferior a los estándares industriales, lo
cual lo hace mucho más seguro para el feto. Sin
embargo, por este motivo y a pesar de la alta
sensibilidad de su transductor, es menos eciente
en la detección. Debe por tanto asegurarse
de encontrar siempre la mejor posición para la
detección de la frecuencia cardíaca fetal para
obtener la mayor precisión posible.
Nota 3:
Escuchar el latido del corazón del bebé antes
de las 16 semanas no siempre es posible
y dependerá en gran medida de diferentes
factores. Entre ellos, la estatura y la gura de la
madre. Las mujeres más altas o con sobrepeso
pueden tener más dicultades para oír los latidos
del corazón en las primeras semanas.
5.3. USO DEL ESCUCHALATIDOS
Para enlazar su dispositivo móvil a sweetBeat y
así poder hacer uso del mismo, deberá seguir los
siguientes pasos:
1. Ponga en marcha el escuchalatidos
presionando durante 3 segundos el botón de
encendido/apagado del dispositivo (4) hasta
que se ilumine el indicador de encendido (1)
en verde.
2. Descargue e instale eMyBaby tal y como se
indica al principio de este manual.
3. Acceda a la sección “Mi Embarazo” y al
subapartado “Escuchalatidos” de eMyBaby
(Figura 1). Una vez haya accedido, el
dispositivo móvil donde tenga instalada la
aplicación, comenzará la búsqueda por
bluetooth de su sweetBeat.
Nota 1: Asegúrese antes de comenzar el
proceso de enlace de que el Bluetooth de su
dispositivo móvil esté activado.
4. El identicador de su aparato escuchalatidos
deberá aparecer en la pantalla de forma
que podrá seleccionarlo para completar la
conexión. Una vez realizada, el dispositivo
aparecerá en la pantalla como pareado
(Figura 2). Este proceso se repetirá cada vez
que desee utilizar el aparato.
5. Aplique una generosa cantidad de gel en el
transductor del aparato (5).
6. Al comienzo del uso, deberá encontrar la
mejor ubicación para orientar el transductor
hacia el corazón del feto según las
instrucciones mostradas en el apartado
5.2. Al aplicarlo sobre el vientre materno el
dispositivo emitirá una luz verde mientras
la frecuencia cardíaca fetal esté entre las
110 y 160 pulsaciones por minuto, y naranja
cuando esté fuera de ese rango.
7. Una vez empiece a recibir los sonidos con
claridad, en su dispositivo empezará a
dibujarse una gráca en tiempo real de la
frecuencia cardíaca (Figura 3).
Si lo desea, también podrá registrar
manualmente los movimientos que realice el
bebé mientras dure la medición.
Nota 2: Puede aumentar o disminuir el volumen
de los sonidos detectados mediante el control
de su dispositivo móvil o bien mediante el icono
correspondiente incluido en esta pantalla de la
aplicación.
8. Si lo desea, puede grabar los sonidos y la
gráca registrados pulsando sobre el botón
de “Grabar”. Posteriormente tendrá acceso
a estos archivos en el subapartado “Tus
sonidos”.
Nota 3: Para conservar la batería durante
más tiempo, cuando el aparato deja de recibir

señales durante cuatro minutos, se apaga
automáticamente.
5.4. SECCIONES ADICIONALES DEL APARTADO
“Mi Embarazo” EN eMyBaby (FIGURA 1)
Además de la posibilidad de utilizar el escuchalatidos
con eMyBaby tal y como se describe en el apartado
anterior, en la app se han incluido muchas más
utilidades para seguir de cerca y de manera
detallada todo el embarazo.
Se indican a continuación todas las secciones
adicionales de este apartado especialmente
dedicado a acompañar durante todo el proceso a
los futuros papás.
5.4.1. Tus sonidos
En esta sección quedarán registrados los
sonidos que se hayan grabado en el apartado
de Escuchalatidos (explicado en el punto 5.3 de
este manual), indicando el día y hora en que se
realizaron. Además, también podrán compartirse
con los seres más queridos.
5.4.2. Bebé
Esta sección está especialmente indicada para
registrar la evolución de algunos de los datos de
crecimiento de su bebé.
Podrá elegir entre:
• Introducir las ecografías de su bebé (Figura 5) con
comentarios.
• Introducir los datos que le proporcione su médico
sobre diferentes medidas del feto
(Figura 6) para después verlos resumidos por
orden cronológico.
• Obtener grácas sobre estos datos que indican
orientativamente la evolución de su
bebé. (Figura 7).
5.4.3. Mamá
En esta sección podrá registrar diversos valores
importantes relacionados con los cambios que
experimentará la mamá durante la gestación (Figura 9):
• Evolución del peso: En este apartado, la madre
podrá registrar su peso mes a mes, obteniendo
una gráca de su evolución (Figura 8).
• Tensión arterial: Para registrar cada una de las
mediciones y llevar un seguimiento de las mismas
(Figura 9).
• Movimientos fetales: Podrá indicar en este
apartado si el bebé se ha movido o no durante su
monitorización ginecológica. (Figura 10).
• Altura del útero: Éste es uno de los datos de los
que se suele hacer un seguimiento detallado. En
la aplicación podrá registrar los valores que mida
su ginecólogo y ver resumida su evolución (Figura 11).
• Tripita: Una buena prueba de la evolución de
su futuro bebé es el crecimiento de la tripita.
Podrá dejar registradas fotos de la misma con
comentarios para cada una, y posteriormente
editarlas o borrarlas (Figura 12).
5.4.4. Citas médicas
La aplicación le permitirá también llevar un
registro de sus citas médicas divididas por
especialidades (Figura 13). Las podrá añadir
seleccionando la especialidad que corresponda
e introduciendo los datos referentes a la misma,
apareciendo posteriormente en la sección
“Calendario” de la aplicación eMyBaby.
5.4.5. Contracciones
En esta sección (Figura 14), llegado el momento
del parto, podrá ir documentando cuando ocurre
cada contracción, así como la duración de cada
una de ellas. Esta información podrá verse
resumida tal y como se muestra en la imagen 14.
5.4.6. Diario del bebé
Con el objetivo de permitir registrar todos los
eventos de esta importante etapa para los papás
y para el bebé, la aplicación incluye un diario que
le permite, ordenados por semanas, registrar
todos los acontecimientos que ocurran durante
la gestación, pudiendo incluso incluir archivos
multimedia (Figura 15).
6. MANTENIMIENTO
• Este aparato es un instrumento de precisión
que debe ser manejado con cuidado.
• Antes de su utilización, se debe eliminar de
su zona de contacto cualquier resto de gel
proveniente de utilizaciones previas. De esta
manera, mejorará los resultados de la prueba
y aumentará la vida útil del equipo.
• Antes de utilizar el escuchalatidos, asegúrese
de que no hay ningún daño evidente en el
mismo que pueda alterar su funcionamiento ya
que podría ser incluso dañino para el usuario.
En caso de que se detectara algún daño
deseche el equipo y reemplácelo por otro.
• La precisión en la medición de la frecuencia
cardíaca fetal no puede ser ajustada
manualmente. Ante cualquier duda sobre el
ajuste de esta precisión, el usuario puede
contrastar la misma mediante el uso de otros
dispositivos médicos como por ejemplo un
estetoscopio.
6.1. Limpieza
• Mantenga el equipo limpio y libre de polvo
mediante su limpieza periódica con un trapo
limpio, suave y seco.
• Si fuera necesario, podrá incluso emplear un
trapo levemente humedecido con agua o agua
enjabonada.
• No utilice disolventes agresivos como la acetona
para su limpieza.
ATENCIÓN: Prohibido emplear materiales
abrasivos como lana de acero o similares.
No sumerja el aparato en ninguna sustancia líquida.

No deje el aparato con ningún líquido limpiador
sobre su supercie.
NOTA: La parte de la sonda debe ser limpiada
con una solución de alcohol al 70% o alcohol
isopropílico. Posteriormente, puede dejarlo secar o
emplear un paño.
6.2 Desinfección
Como se ha descrito previamente, la limpieza de la
parte superior del aparato así como del transductor
debe ser llevada a cabo con alcohol al 70% o
alcohol isopropílico, y secado a continuación con
un paño para eliminar cualquier resto resultante
sobre el aparato. No se permite ningún otro tipo
de limpieza o desinfección para evitar daños o
malfuncionamiento del escuchalatidos.
6.3. Transporte y almacenaje
Este dispositivo no debe ser almacenado en lugares
con ambientes erosivos, humedades, temperaturas
extremas o mala ventilación. Además, durante el
transporte del dispositivo se deben evitar impactos
o vibraciones violentas.

1. INTRODUCTION
We would like to congratulate you on having
acquired our new innovative Doppler ultrasound
heartbeat monitor which will enable you to
listen to your baby´s heartbeat as of 16 weeks
of pregnancy on your mobile device using
Bluetooth technology. Read the instructions set
forth in this manual carefully prior to using the
product. Keep it for use as a reference in the
future as it contains important information.
The characteristics described in this manual
are subject to change with no prior warning.

3. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
This device is rechargeable, energy-independent
and complies with EU safety standards in
relation to healthcare products. The following
specications should be complied with in order to
avoid any potential damage.
1. The device is not suitable for use in
environments containing inammable and/or
anesthetic gas as this could cause explosions.
2. Do not throw the device on to a re in order to
prevent it from exploding.
3. Do not use the heartbeat monitor on more than
one patient simultaneously.
4. Do not use this device if there is high-
frequency surgical or magnetic resonance
equipment in use. This could harm both the
operator and the patient.The correct
operating distance between the device and the
mobile player is 5 m.
5. This device has been designed to operate on a
continuous basis. Although the
device is manufactured splash-proof, avoid
contact with liquids.Keep the device
clean and keep it away from vibrations.
6. Do not sterilize the equipments in high-
temperature environments. Also avoid the
use of electronic, ultraviolet rays, etc.
7. Prior to use, check for any damage to the
equipment which might place the safety
of the user at risk. This check should be
conducted at least once a month to ensure
the device can be repaired prior to use in the
event a problem is detected.
8. If there is doubt as to fetal well-being after
using the unit, consult with your doctor.
9. This device is a portable fetal heartbeat
detector. Under no circumstances
whatsoever may it replace medical fetal
monitoring. We recommend the end user
seek basic professional healthcare guidance
prior to using the device for the rst time.
10. We recommended the minimum use of this
equipment immediately after a prescribed
clinical monitoring procedure.
4. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
5.1. CHARGING THE BATTERY
This heartbeat monitor is equipped with a
rechargeable battery. When the battery is at the
power indicator (1) will light up orange. In order
to recharge the battery:
1) Connect the end of the charge cable micro-
USB supplied to the micro-USB port located on
the side of the device covered with a small piece
of silicone (3). Connect the other end to your
computer. The device will then begin to charge.
2) The power indicator will ash orange while
the device is charging. Once charged it will ash
green.
Note 1: Do not attempt to remove the battery
from the apparatus.
Note 2: You may not use the apparatus to read a
fetal heartbeat while it is charging.
5.2. DETECTING THE HEARTBEAT
As a means of ensuring your experience with the
heartbeat monitor is as satisfactory as possible,
the transducer must be placed in the correct
position on the abdomen. As such, feel for the
rst third of the vertical area joining the navel
and the pubis and apply a generous amount of
conducive gel.
Then, depending on whether the patient is in
phase 1 (16-24 weeks), phase 2 (24-32 weeks)
or phase 3 (32-40 weeks) of pregnancy, feel for
the heartbeat of the fetus as illustrated in
Figure B.
Obviously, this area will expand over the
pregnancy. This is due to the fact that as the fetus

grows, it, and consequently the heart, moves
upwards and the mobility towards the sides
increases. The ideal position for clearly detecting
the fetal heartbeat is when the apparatus is
pointing towards the rear of the fetus´ left
shoulder. Ensure the transducer (5) is always
fully in contact with the skin.
Once the best position for listening to the baby´s
heartbeat has been found, you can use your
mobile device with the eMyBaby application to
monitor the fetal heartbeat. Or if you prefer, you
can also listen using the headphone connection
in the 3.5 mm jack input (2).
If the fetus moves position during the
examination, you should change the direction
of your heartbeat monitor until you can hear the
cardiac activity with the greatest possible clarity.
Note 1: Miniland has a special gel to favor the
conduction of ultrasound, whose reference is
89211. You can purchase it through our online
store (https://www.minilandgroup.com/).
Also, this type of gel can be found in
pharmacies and parapharmacies.
Note 2: You should take into account that the
power of the ultrasound signal of this device is
far lower than that of standard industrial devices,
meaning it is much safer for the fetus. However,
its power of detection is less efcient for the
same reason and despite the high sensitivity of
the transducer. Hence, you need to nd the best
position for detecting the fetal heartbeat in order
to obtain the greatest possible precision.
Note 3: It is not always possible to hear a baby’s
heartbeat before 16 weeks and will depend
largely on various factors. Among them, the
height and gure of the mother. Mothers who
are taller or overweight may nd it more difcult
to hear their baby’s heartbeats for the rst few
weeks.
5.3. USE OF THE HEARTBEAT MONITOR
Please follow the steps listed below in order to
connect your mobile device to sweetBeat and
make use of the same:
1. Turn on the heartbeat monitor by pressing the
on/off button (4) for three seconds until the
power indicator (1) lights up green.
2. Download and install eMyBaby in accordance
with the instructions provided at the beginning
of this manual.
3. Access the eMyBaby “My Pregnancy” section
and the “Heart Listener” sub-section (Figure
1). Once you have accessed this section the
mobile device on which you have installed the
application will start searching for bluetooth
on your sweetBeat.
Note 1: Ensure the Bluetooth system on your
mobile device is turned on prior to starting
the process.
4. The icon of your heartbeat monitor device
should appear on the screen to enable you to
complete the connection by selecting it. Once
this process has been completed, the device
will appear on the screen as connected
(Figure 2). This process will be repeated each
time you wish to use the apparatus.
5. Place a generous amount of gel in the
transducer.
6. On starting to use the device, you should
nd the best position to point the transducer
towards the fetus´ heart in accordance with
the instructions provided in section 5.2. On
placing the device on the mother´s belly it will
emit a green light while the fetal heartbeat
registers between 110 and 160 beats per
minute, and an orange light when beyond this
range.
7. Once the sound begins to come through
clearly, a graph of the baby´s heartbeat will
appear in real time (Figure 3).
If you wish, you can also register the baby´s
movements manually while reading its
heartbeat.
Note 2: You may turn up or turn down the volume
of the sounds detected using the control on your
mobile device or by using the corresponding icon
on the screen.
8. If you wish, you can record the sounds and the
graph by pressing the “Record” button. You
may access these les at a later date in the
“Your Sounds” sub-section.
Note 3: The device turns itself off automatically
when it has not received a signal for four minutes
as a means of increasing the life of the battery.
5.4. ADDITIONAL SECTIONS OF THE “My
Pregnancy” SECTION ON eMyBaby (FIGURE 1)
In addition to the possibility of using the
heartbeat monitor with eMyBaby as described
in the previous section, the application features
many more functions to enable you to follow the
entire pregnancy from close up and in detail.
The following additional sections are specically
geared to enabling parents to monitor the entire
process.
5.4.1. Your sounds
This section registers the sounds recorded on
your heartbeat monitor (explained in item 5.3
of this manual), indicating the date and time of
the recording. Moreover, you can share these
sounds with your loved ones.

5.4.2. Baby
This section is specically intended to register
data in relation to the growth of your baby.
You can choose from the following:
• Insert your baby´s ultrasounds (Figure 5) with
comments.
•
Insert the data provided by your doctor on
different measurements of the fetus (Figure 6),
which are then summarized in chronological
order.
• Obtain graphs on this data showing your
baby´s progress. (Figure 7).
5.4.3. Mum
This section enables you to register important
values in relation to the changes the mum
undergoes during the pregnancy.
• Evolution of weight: In this section the
mother can register her weight month by
month,obtaining a graph showing progress
(Figure 8).
• Blood pressure: To record each reading and to
monitor the same (Figure 9).
• Fetal movements: This section shows
if the baby has moved or not during the
gynecological monitoring. (Figure 10).
• Height of the womb: This data is normally
monitored in detail. The application allows
you to register the values taken by your
gynecologist and summarizes the progress
(Figure 11).
• Stomach: A good test of the evolution of your
future baby is the growth of the stomach
You can register photos of the same with
comments on each one, and then edit or delete
them (Figure 12).
5.4.4. Doctor´s appointments
The application also enables you to keep a
record of your doctor´s appointments divided
into specialist areas (Figure 13). You can add
them selecting the respective specialist area and
entering the data on the same, which will then
appear in the “Calendar” section on the eMyBaby
application.
5.4.5. Contractions
This section (Figure 14), at the time of giving
birth, will enable you to record each contraction
and the duration of each. This information can be
summarized as illustrated in gure 14.
5.4.6. Baby’s diary.
With the aim of enabling you to register all the
events of this important phase for parents and
the baby, the application features a diary in which
you can register all the events occurring during
the pregnancy, and even stores multimedia les
(Figure 15).
6. MAINTENANCE
• This device is a precision tool and needs to
be handled with care. All remains of gel from
previous uses should be removed from the
contact area prior to use. This will
help improve the results of the exam and
increase the service life of the equipment.
• Prior to using the heartbeat monitor, ensure
there is no obvious damage which might affect
its performance, as this could also cause
harm to the user. If the equipment is damaged
dispose of it and replace it.
• The accuracy of the measurement of the fetal
heartbeat cannot be adjusted manually. In the
event of doubt with regard to this accuracy, the
user may compare the same by using other
medical devices such as a stethoscope.
6.1. Cleaning
• Keep the equipment clean and free of dust by
ensuring regular cleaning with a clean smooth
and dry cloth.
• If necessary, you can also use a cloth
dampened with water or soapy water.
• Do not use aggressive solvents such as
acetone for cleaning.
ATTENTION: The use of abrasive materials such
as steel wool and similar is prohibited.
Do not submerge the apparatus in any liquid
substance.
Do not leave any cleaning uid on the surface of
the apparatus.
Note: The probe should be cleaned with a 70%
alcohol solution or isopropyl alcohol. Then leave
it to dry or use a cloth.
6.2. Disinfection
As explained previously, the top of the equipment
and the transducer should be cleaned with a
70% alcohol solution or isopropyl alcohol, and
then dried with a cloth to remove any debris
from the apparatus. No other kind of cleaning
of disinfection is allowed in order to prevent the
device from being damaged or malfunctioning.
6.3. Transportation and storage
This device should not be stored in erosive,
moist or poorly ventilated environments or in
extreme temperatures. Moreover, the equipment
should be protected against impact or powerful
vibrations when being transported.
