Installation and Usage
Do not install near water, rain spattering site, or
humid area.
It may cause re when charging the product.
Install in a well-ventilated place.
Do not install the charging stand at a place with
vibration such as a washer or camping car.

industrial oil or metal dust.

Power requirements
This product is exclusively designed for 220-240 V.
Make sure to check the supply voltage before use.

ing it excessively or putting a heavy object on it.

or personal injury.
Do not use several power plugs in one socket at
the same time.
The abnormal heating of the socket could cause re.
A breaker could be activated to cut the power.

If the power plug is stained with dust or water,

Proper usage
Do not allow children to use the product.
It can cause personal injury and damage to the unit.
Do not allow a person or pet to step on the prod-
uct or play with the product, charging stand, or
battery as a toy.

Be careful that your hand, foot, hair, or skirt is
not caught by the rotating brush when using or
cleaning the product.

charging the product, pull out the power plug
immediately and contact LG Electronics Service
Center.

HOW TO USE
Before Using the Product
Notes related to use
•
The product may not work properly if the suction
nozzle or length adjustment Extension pipe is covered
with foreign objects. Remove large foreign objects
such as socks and stocking before using the product.
•
Battery life can be reduced if the product is used for a
long time.
•
If the battery is stored for a long time without charge,
it may cause battery malfunction.
•
If the battery needs to be stored for a long time, fully
charge the battery every 6 months.
•
If the battery is low, the last bar of the battery level
LED will ash and the product will be turned off. Use
the product after full charge.
•
It is recommended to use the product at room
temperature, because battery life can be shortened if
used under 5
or over 38
for a long time.
•
Make sure that the lter is properly assembled before
use.
•
Remove wires or strings on the oor before using the
product. It may cause product malfunction or cord
disconnection because the product cab be caught with
strings.
Using the Extension pipe

To adjust extension tube length, press the length
adjustment lever of the extension tube.
•
The length adjustment extension tube can be
adjusted by 4 steps.

Using the Hose Handle

Install the AAA battery provided with the product
in the hose handle before using the product.
•
Check the correct direction (+, -) of the battery.

If the battery needs to be replaced while in use, the
main unit power will be turned off and RoboSense
lamp will ash on top of the main unit. At this time,
replace the battery of the hose handle.

You can control suction power strength by stage
or turn RoboSense on or off, using the hose handle
button.

Power on/off button
•
If the product is turned on, the produce will run
in standard mode and RoboSense on.

Strength adjustment button
•
If you press the “+” button, the mode will change
from Standard
Strong.
•
If you press the “+” more than 3 seconds, turbo
mode will be engaged. However, you cannot dir
-
ectly switch from standard mode to turbo mode.
You can use maximum suction power when
RoboSense is turned off.
•
If you press the “-” button, all modes will change
to standard mode.
•
If you press the “-” button more than 3 seconds,
you can turn RoboSense on or off. However,
the mode will change to standard mode when
turning RoboSense on or off.
NOTE
•
The battery level LED on the upper side of the product
will ash for the user to check the battery level when

ever the power is turned on.
•
Do not keep the battery at a place with heaters or
heat.
•
Do not kick or apply strong shock to the hose.

Charging
Charging the product (with the battery in
the product)
Put the product wheel on the charging stand by aligning
the product wheel on the center-line. To detect the bat
-
tery level, the battery indicator of the product will ash
4 times and charge will start.
•
If the battery indicator doesn’t ash after putting the
main unit on the charging stand, the battery is not
charged. Put the product on the charging stand again.
•
When charging is completed, both “Charging indica-
tor” and “Battery indicator” lamps will stop blinking
and remain turned on.

Put the detached battery on the charging stand. The
charging indicator of the charging stand will ash and
charge will start.
•
If charge is completed, the charging indicator will be
turned on after ashing.

Fix the power line of the charging stand on the oor
surface with proper length, and install the charging stand
on a at spot.
•
Wind the power line around the power line xing rack
and power line xing groove before using the product.

Checking Battery Level
Check the battery level using the battery level LED on
the top of the product before using the product.
•
If the last battery bar ashes, the battery needs
recharge. Please charge the battery using the charging
stand.

Using Smart Functions
Avoiding obstacles
The cleaner minimizes collision with nearby obstacles as
much as possible using four laser sensors attached at
both front side of the cleaner main unit.
•
The obstacle avoiding function is available for some
models only.
•
Performance may be degraded if dust gathers on the
laser sensor window. Wipe dust with a cotton swab.
•
Be careful that the cleaner can collide with the thin
desk leg, door, or obstacle lower than 30cm.
•
The obstacle may not be detected because there can
be a blind spot in the sensing area.
•
The backing-up function is available to escape when
collided with an obstacle in a blind spot.
•
This product is a Class I laser device of which conform-
ity assessment is conducted in accordance with the
IEC 60825-1.

RoboSense (automatic moving function)
The cleaner automatically follows the user if the cleaner
is away more than 1 meter while cleaning, using the gyro
sensor and radio frequency (RF) sensor integrated in the
cleaner main unit.

As the product contains many rubber ingredients,
the product may fall down when using on some
mats.

Even though the product has fell down, it doesn’t
affect cleaning performance and product at all. Raise
the product up and use it.
Using the Nozzle
•
This section applies to applicable model only.
•
You can connect a suction nozzle for each use to the
length adjustment extension tube or hose.
•
If the oor surface, carpet, or bedding sticks to the
suction nozzle or foreign objects are not sucked in
well, adjust suction power.

•
Use the product for the cleaning purpose only.
•
Be careful that your ngers are not caught in the gap.

It can be used to clean hard oors but will generate some
noise.

CAUTION
•
Be careful that the infant/child mat can be damaged
by the brush rotating at a high speed, if the product is
used on such mats.
•
The suction nozzle can stop working to prevent dam-
age to the main unit and suction nozzle, if the suction
nozzle is caught by a foreign object during cleaning.
Use the suction nozzle after removing the foreign
object.
•
For your safety, the carpet nozzle will stop working, if
the suction nozzle is left operating on the carpet. This
is not a defect, so you can turn it on by pressing the
power button

You can clean your bedding easily by installing the suc-
tion nozzle for bedding in the product.

Combination Tool
This accessory is helpful for cleaning corners or small
gaps.
•
Basic
For cleaning at surfaces such as a sofa or mattress.
•
Brush type
For cleaning delicate surfaces such as a photo frame
or furniture.
Crevice Tool
It is suitable for cleaning dust in a corner or a narrow
space.
CAUTION
•
The motor can be overloaded if the product is used for
a long time, while the crevice tool or the combination
tool is installed.
•
Be careful that TV, LCD, monitor, glass, or furniture can
be scratched if you use the crevice tool or the combin

ation tool.
•

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the Dust Bin

Press the body cover release button (

the product cover and then, separate the dust

If you empty the dust bin after wrapping it
with a vinyl envelope, you can remove waste
more hygienically.

Clean the separated dust bin and dust separator
in the running water.
CAUTION
•
If washed with water, remove moisture completely by
drying up more than 24 hours in the well-ventilated
shade. If you use the wet dust bin, it may cause bad
smells or product malfunction.
•
Do not clean the dust bin with the chlorine or oxygen
detergent. It may damage the product.

When assembling, set the dust separator and
dust bin release button rst (
) and then, press
the dust bin hook with your hand so that the
hook can be rmly locked.
•
Check whether the triangle mark matches each
other.
•
Assemble the dust bin while the bottom cover is
opened.

Cleaning the Main Unit Filter

Separate the product from the lter case and pull
the lter case hook to open.

Clean the lter case, pre-lter, and motor protec-
tion lter in the running water.
•
There can be a smell of lth if the lter is not
completely dried up after cleaning in water. Use
after drying up completely in the well-ventilated
shade.

Dry up the lter completely and assemble the
motor protection lter and pre-lter in order in the
lter case.

Note
•
Clean the lter with cold water. If the lter touches
hot water, the lter can be deformed and performance
can be degraded.
•
The product can be turned on as the hose power
button is pressed. Therefore, make sure to separate
the battery before cleaning.
Cleaning the Exhaust Filter

Open the exhaust lter cover by pressing the
exhaust unit release button.

Hold the exhaust lter handle and separate the
exhaust lter.
Remove dust by shaking the exhaust ler.
•
Clean the exhaust ler more than 1 time a month
to keep cleaning performance properly.

Mount the lter in the product main unit when
exhaust unit cleaning is nished.
•
Insert the exhaust ler and push all the way to
the front.

Cleaning the Power Drive Carpet

Separate the suction nozzle from the product.

Turn the suction nozzle upside down and turn the
rotating brush release lever counterclockwise.
(Separate the brush with a coin or a at-head
screwdriver.

Hold and pull the rotating brush to the arrow direc-
tion to separate.

Install the crevice tool in the hose and remove
foreign objects from the rotating brush and suction
nozzle bottom.

Remove the remaining foreign objects in the ro-
tating brush and suction nozzle bottom using wet
tissue paper or toilet paper.

Assemble in reverse order after cleaning.

CAUTION
•

Do not clean the rotating brush and suction nozzle
main unit with water.
•
Do not use the rotating brush as a damping cloth.
Cleaning the Bedding Power Punch

Remove the suction nozzle from the product and
turn it upside down.

Install the crevice tool in the main unit and remove
foreign objects from the bottom.

Remove remaining foreign objects with wet issue
paper or toilet paper.

Do not clean the suction nozzle with water.
