WARNING

When the power adapter is damaged, it must be replaced with a genuine

power adapter purchased from the manufacturer or after-sales service

department.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or

Do not sit on, lean on or tilt the puriﬁer.

When using in conjunction with gas-fueled

appliances (such as gas stoves, gas heaters),

please ventilate suciently to avoid carbon

monoxide poisoning.

Do not pour liquids, nor throw powders or

other small substances into the puriﬁer's air

outlet.

Do not use the puriﬁer in the following

circumstances, as they may result in electric

shocks, ﬁre, or other damage:

Near open ﬂames, such as candles, incense

burners, stoves, ﬁreplaces, cigarettes,

ﬁrecrackers, lighters, multipurpose torches,

candle lighters, or ﬁre pans.

Near appliances that generate high

other particles from falling in when the puriﬁer

is left unused for a long time.

To avoid ﬁre, electric shocks, or other damage,

use the power adapter and electrical outlet as

instructed below:

Do not excessively pull, twist or bend the

power adapter, as this may expose or break

the cord's core.

The power adapter must be plugged into a

suitable electrical outlet.

Installation

This product has two installation methods: ﬂoor-standing and wall-mounted, and you can choose the appropriate installation method according to your needs.

Floor-standing installation

Insert the two ends of the stand frame

into the holes at the bottom of the air

puriﬁer and hear a "click" to install in

place.

01 For optimal performance, make sure the distances between puriﬁer's air inlets and other

objects such as walls meet the requirements as suggested below.

Note: It is recommended to keep doors and windows closed for a better purifying eect when using the

puriﬁer.

Tip: The recommended installation height is

about 1.4 meters (excluding the height of the

puriﬁer).

Wall-mounted installation

Please make sure the installation

position on the wall for the puriﬁer, and

there must be a power outlet nearby.

Clean the wall, check the accessories

(2 sets of screws&anchor, 1 sheet of

positioning paper), and choose the

installation direction of the puriﬁer.

Lay the positioning paper on the wall,

and position it according to the two

crosses on the positioning paper (pay

attention to the installation direction),

and use a drill bit with a diameter of

6mm to drill two holes about 40mm

deep on the wall.

Insert the anchor into the hole and

screw in the screw slowly. Do not screw

the screw all the way into the anchor,

suggest leave about 7-8mm as shown.

Remove the packaging of the puriﬁer,

align the mounting holes, hang the

puriﬁer on the screw, and connect the

power adapter to the power supply.

How to Use

On/Standby Switching mode

Press on/standby button to turn on the

puriﬁer. When the puriﬁer is on, press the

on/standby button to enter standby mode.

While the puriﬁer is on, press the mode

switch button to cycle through modes.

Resetting Wi-Fi Factory Reset

While the puriﬁer is on, press and hold

the mode button for 5 seconds, Wi-Fi

indicator blinking, Wi-Fi is successfully reset

and puriﬁer enters the state of waiting for

connection.

While the puriﬁer is on, press and hold Mode

button for 10 seconds, the mode indicator

and Wi-Fi indicator ﬂash three times from

left to right in sequence, factory reset

completed.

Enabling/Disabling Wi-Fi

While the puriﬁer is on, press and hold

the mode button and on/standby button

simutaniously for 5 seconds, the Wi-Fi will be

disabled. While Wi-Fi is o, same operation

can enable the Wi-Fi.

Note: After factory reset performed, the ﬁlter life

span will be recalculated.

Intelligent Control with Apple HomeKit

Open the Home app on your iPhone/iPad.

Tap "Add Accessory" and then scan the HomeKit setup code on the product

sticker (two stickers on the device unit, see illustration), or enter the eight-digit

setup code above the HomeKit Setup Code. The device will then be linked to

the Apple Home app.

The device can be linked to

Smartmi Link after linking to

HomeKit. Go to the Personal

Info page on Smartmi Link. Tap

"HomeKit Info" and then link the

HomeKit device as prompted.

Devices linked to Smartmi Link can

also be added to HomeKit. Go

to the Device Control page on

Smartmi Link. Tap "Add to HomeKit"

in "Settings" and then link the

device to HomeKit as prompted.

Note:

Please ensure that your Wi-Fi network is both

available and has Internet access. Place your

phone as close to this product as possible.

(This product does not support 5G networks).

To control this accessory which is compatible

with HomeKit, it is recommended to use iOS

13.0 or a later version.

Please keep the HomeKit setup code, as you

will need to scan the code to link the device

to HomeKit after a factory reset.

Controlling this HomeKit-enabled accessory

automatically and away from home requires

a HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad set up as

a home hub. It is recommended that you

update to the latest software and operating

Linking the Device

to Smartmi Link

This product has been linked to the

Smartmi Link and can be controlled

using the app.

Scan the QR code or search for

"Smartmi Link" on the app store to

download and install the app. Go to the

app's homepage, click "+" in the middle

of the page, then add the device as

prompted.

Note:

Please ensure that your Wi-Fi network is both

available and has Internet access. Place your

phone as close to this product as possible.

This product will be listed as "Smartmi Air

Puriﬁer E1" in the app's device listing.

Filter Replacement Resetting the Filter

Power on the air puriﬁer, press and hold

the Mode button for 5 seconds to reset the

service life for the new ﬁlter.

Note:

· It is recommended to replace the ﬁlter every

3–6 months, when it detects that the ﬁlter

needs to be replaced, the device will send a

prompt to your app, please replace the ﬁlter on

time.

· To ensure your puriﬁer properly works and

puriﬁes, please purchase genuine and

compatible ﬁlters from ocial channels.

Warning:

· Power o puriﬁer and disconnect it from the power supply before performing the following

operations.

· When the puriﬁer wall-mounted, it is recommended to take down the puriﬁer before replacing the

ﬁlter.

Removing the Old Filter Installing the New Filter

As illustrated in the ﬁgure, hold the

puriﬁer with one hand, and pull the

edge of the ﬁlter with the other hand

to remove the old ﬁlter.

Cleaning the ﬁlter compartment

Maintenance and Care

Warning: Make sure the puriﬁer is turned o and the power adapter is unplugged before performing the following operations.

To ensure optimal ventilation and puriﬁcation, use a vacuum

cleaner to remove any dust from the air inlets and the ﬁlter

compartment, or wipe these areas gently with a soft cloth.

After cleaning, install the ﬁlter in place.

Note: To avoid damaging the puriﬁer, do not rinse or spray the puriﬁer directly

with water, or wipe it with a soaking wet cloth.

Do not insert ﬁngers or foreign objects into grille.

Do not power on the puriﬁer without ﬁlter installed.
